In mid-August, we’re launching a crowdfunding campaign with Europe’s leading private market investment platform, giving our community the chance to become shareholders in Calancombe Estate.
Over the past 12 years, we’ve grown from a young vineyard into one of the West Country’s largest wine producers – without taking on any external debt.
None of this would exist without our winemaker, vineyard team, and the front-of-house and kitchen teams who welcome you every time you visit, and Dartmouth Distillery, home of our award-winning Dartmouth English Gin and Navy Strength Gin.
We believe the time is right to build on these foundations. Your investment would help us:
Expand our winery, and offer winemaking and cider-production services to other local growers, while Calancombe wines remain made only from grapes grown on our own Estate
Develop Calancombe as a wedding venue, opening a new source of income and boosting product sales
Become more family-friendly – play and adventure areas, nature trails and new experiences, while keeping the calm atmosphere you know at the Winery and Cellar Door
Strengthen our sales, marketing and operations team, bringing our wines and spirits to a wider audience
Keep developing Estate-grown products, including our apple brandy
